Dr. Terry James
Dr. Terry is the 3rd generation of dentists to practice at St. Vital Dental Centre and is the son of Dr. Lori and grandson of the late Dr. Ian. Dr. Terry is focused on maintaining the level of compassion and care at St. Vital Dental Centre that patients have experienced for over 50 years. He has an easy going personality and enjoys getting to know his patients.
Dr. Terry grew up in Southdale where he attended Ecole Guyot and College Beliveau before being shipped off to St. Paul's High School. He spent his younger years playing hockey and golf competitively, winning the Manitoba Junior Golf Championship when he was 18. Dr. Terry received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from the University of Manitoba. To pursue his dream of becoming a dentist, Dr. Terry moved to the Twin Cities to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Terry enjoys spending his spare time with his daughters Winslow and Marli, as well with his wife Charlene. Dr. Terry currently serves on the Board of Directors of his daughter's non-profit daycare, and coaches his kids Timbits hockey and soccer teams. When he has free-time, you will often find Dr. Terry on the golf course or playing rec-league hockey.
